Overview
Explores how SMART on FHIR applications could interact with IIS to provide user-facing tools or enhanced workflows. This could enable third-party apps to securely access IIS data through standardized APIs. It represents a shift from HL7 v2 messaging toward app-based integration models. Interest is exploratory, and the role for IIS is not yet defined.
