Overview
Supports displaying immunization recommendations within an EHR workflow using the CDS Hooks standard. This is primarily an EHR-facing capability, but IIS or external CDS engines could support it by providing patient immunization data or recommendation services. It uses a FHIR-based interaction model rather than HL7 v2 messaging. This is not a core IIS function, and interest is currently limited, but it may help align IIS-supported CDS with modern clinical workflows.
