Overview

Supports issuing verifiable digital vaccination records using SMART Health Cards, originally implemented for COVID-19 vaccines. Some IIS have deployed this capability, with discussions about expanding to all immunizations. It uses FHIR-based data models and QR codes for sharing credentials. This is not currently a national priority, and broader adoption remains uncertain.
