Stage and Path

Stage

Draft

Draft topics are early-stage ideas gathering initial interest and problem framing.

Path

External Effort

Advancement depends on a decision, deliverable, policy, specification, or participation that is outside the direct control of Emerging Standards.

Overview

Defines how an EHR can include patient-specific Contextual Conditions as coded observations within an HL7 v2 QBP query. The IIS uses the supplied conditions when generating the corresponding RSP response, allowing the returned immunization evaluations and recommendations to account for relevant medical, occupational, lifestyle, travel, and other risk factors. It supports risk-based immunization forecasting between EHRs and IIS-generated CDS.
