Overview
Supports identifying patients as part of defined priority groups, such as those used during pandemic response. This was implemented by some IIS during COVID-19 to support reporting and allocation. It requires additional data elements beyond standard HL7 v2 messaging. Interest is limited outside of emergency scenarios.
