Overview
Explores whether IIS could capture and manage data related to antiviral medications alongside immunizations. This is not a core IIS function, though at least one IIS has implemented it. It would extend beyond current HL7 v2 immunization-focused standards and require new data models or exchange patterns. Interest is currently limited and the broader role for IIS is unclear.
