Overview
Supports exchanging summarized or population-level data rather than individual patient records. This is defined through IHE profiles and could support IIS reporting, analytics, or coordination with other public health systems. It differs from HL7 v2 VXU/QBP patterns, which focus on patient-level data exchange. Interest is exploratory, as the role of IIS in aggregate exchange is not yet clearly defined.
