Overview

Explores capturing and transmitting original digital vaccination records to IIS as supporting documentation for historical doses. Instead of entering a vaccination from a paper record or manual transcription, the IIS could receive the signed digital artifact (such as a pharmacy-issued record or International Patient Summary) alongside the immunization data. This extends provenance beyond simple source attribution to include verifiable original documentation. This is not a current IIS capability and interest is exploratory, but it may become relevant as digital records re-emerge in future workflows.

Coming soon

Support for source material, diagrams, and supporting notes is coming in a future update.
