Overview

The Unified Nomenclature of Vaccines (NUVA) represents vaccines, valences, target diseases, and relationships to national and international code systems. IVC participants use and advance NUVA through mappings, quality metrics, training, a SNOMED CT extension, search tools, and clinical decision-support use cases. This topic follows the product and public-resource effort independently of SYADEM, the organization that created it.
