Explores how an EHR can submit patient-specific Contextual Conditions as coded observations within an HL7 v2 immunization update exchange. These conditions may include pregnancy, maternal health and vaccination, immunocompromising conditions, chronic disease, occupation, lifestyle, travel, and other medical or risk factors relevant to immunization. The work addresses how these observations are represented and interpreted, as well as expectations for whether and how an IIS may retain or use the information.
